Bhel Puri

Bhel Puri is one of the delicious chaats of Mumbai made with puffed rice along with tangy & spicy chutneys.




Ingredients

1 Packet Bhel Mix

( Bhel mix is a combination of puffed rice, peanuts & shev)

2 onions finely chopped

1 tomato chopped

1 boiled & chopped potato

4 tbsp Sweet Chutney (dates+tamarind+jaggery+jeera powder)

1 tbsp Green chutney (green chilies+coriander+garlic+lime)

4-5 flat puris

Handful of nylon shev 

Salt to taste

Chaat Masala

1 juice of lemon

Raw mango chopped

Coriander leaves

Method

Take Bhel mix in a wide mouth pan. Add potatoes, tomatoes, onions, raw mango, both chutneys & salt & mix well. Mix few crushed puris on top.

Squeeze in lemon juice. Sprinkle some chaat masala, nylon shev & garnish with coriander leaves.

There is no specific measure for any ingredient. Each one can be adjusted as per taste.

Sweet, tangy & spicy bhel is ready. Serve with a flat puri. Bhelpuri is a perfect evening snack.
