Chocolate Pudding

Chocolate Pudding is an interesting and no fuss recipe which can be made with handful of ingredients from the pantry, This is custard based pudding with rick flavour of dark chocolate. The chocolate fans will surely love this pudding.




Ingredients


500 ml milk

50 ml fresh cream

2 tbsp vanilla custard powder

2-3 tbsp sugar

200 grams semi sweet cooking chocolate


Method


Keep aside 1/4 cup milk which is at room temperature. Mix custard powder in this so that there are no lumps.


Cut semi sweet chocolate in small pieces.


Now boil the milk and mix fresh cream with it. Add sugar and let it dissolve. Now add the chopped chocolate in this milk. With the help of whisk, keep mixing it in one direction. The Chocolate will now melt in this milk and the mixture will be homogeneous. Remember to keep the flame on low at this stage.


Now add the custard mixture in this slowly while constantly stirring with a whisk. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame and keep stirring so that there is no film formation at the top. When the mixture is slightly warm pour in individual dessert glasses or cups. If it is allowed to cool in the container, it will be lumpy when poured in cups.


Let it cool at room temperature. Now refrigerate the pudding. Serve chilled. Garnish with chocolate shavings or chocochips or cherries or garnish of own choice.
