Pasta made with rich creamy white sauce along with spinach.
Ingredients
200gms shell shaped pasta
100 gms boneless chicken ( optional )
3-4 chopped garlic cloves
1cup spinach puree
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 green capsicum
5-6 button mushrooms
Creamy Pasta Sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Method
Boil pasta with salt till it is al dente ( firm but not hard ).Drain it & drizzle some oil on it so that it doesn't stick to each other.
Blanch spinach for 2 minutes & puree it.Chop mushrooms& green capsicum into cubes.
Heat oil in pan.Then add chopped garlic & saute it.Add bell peppers & mushrooms & mix well.Then add the boneless chicken & saute it .
When the chicken is cooked add the creamy pasta sauce ( here I have used the ready Alfredo sauce with fresh cream & cheese ) To make creamy sauce add garlic butter and maida .Mix well. Then add some milk,salt and pepper.Grate cheese and mix till it becomes smooth and creamy.
To the creamy sauce mix spinach puree & boiled pasta.Sprinkle black pepper powder.Adjust salt as per taste.Take care not to boil the spinach puree too much else the green colour will be lost.Pasta is ready. Serve hot.
