Here's an exciting recipe of Gobi Manchurian. Its aIndo Chinese dish made to suit the Indian palate.
20-25 ( medium sized) Cauliflower florets)
1 Carrot Diced
1 Capsicum diced ( Optional )
10-12 garlic cloves finely chopped
1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Chilly sauce
1-2 green chillies finely chopped
Salt to taste
Corn flour + maida paste ( medium consistency )
2 tsp Corn flour paste thin
Oil for frying
Marinate cauliflower florets with soy sauce for about 10-15 mins
Then make a batter of maida and corn flour in proportion of 2:1
Dip the florets in this batter ,deep fry & keep aside.
Heat oil in pan.Add chopped garlic,ginger,green chillies
Then add soy & chilly sauce
Mix the fried florets. Add Salt to taste.
Add some water & bring it to boil.Now we can add the corn starch slurry for thickening.
Garnish it with coriander leaves / spring onions.
Can be served as starter or like main course with rice / noodles
