Instant Chicken Pulav

Chicken Pulav made with left over chicken gravy. It is one pot dish with mild spices, chicken & fragrant rice. As the name says it gets ready in less than 20 minutes.




Ingredients

1 1/2 cup Basmati rice

1/2 kg chicken gravy

1 tsp ginger garlic green chilli paste

Salt to taste

1/2 Biryani Masala optional

2 tsp ghee

2 sliced brown onions

Chopped Coriander leaves


To temper

1/2 tsp Caraway seeds

1 inch cinnamon

1 masala elaichi

4-5 cloves

4-5 pepper corns


Method


Wash & soak rice for 20 minutes


Heat ghee in pan. Add all khada garam masala under the title To Temper. Mix well. Now add ginger garlic chili paste & saute well.


Now add soaked rice and saute well. Water quantity has to be double that of rice. Here I have used 2 cups chicken gravy and a cup of hot water in rice. Let the rice cover and cook till it is 80% done.


Add the chicken pieces from the gravy and mix well. Now add slices brown onions and coriander leaves and biryani masala. Adjust salt. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes.


Instant Chicken Pulav is ready to serve. Serve with raita of choice.
