Kalakand

Kalakand is a very easy to make sweet & it can be made within minutes. It is made with khava & paneer. It tastes deliciously yummy.




Ingredients


1 cup khava (khoya)

1cup paneer

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1tsp ghee

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

5-6 chopped Pistachios for garnish


Method


Heat ghee in a pan. Crumble khava & add to it. Keep roasting on low flame till the khava melts lightly. Now add crumbled paneer & mix for 5-6 minutes.


The mixture will now start to leave the edges.Turn off the heat & let it cool.


When the mixture is slightly warm , mix powdered sugar along with cardamom powder. Grease a dish with ghee & transfer the mixture into it.


Lightly press the chopped pistachios on it. Refrigerate for an hour. Kalakand is now set. Cut into pieces & it is ready to serve.
