Kanda Bhaji is irresistible on a rainy day It is one of the famous street foods of Mumbai. It is made with onions & gram flour along with spices. It is a perfect snack on a rainy day.
Ingredients
2 sliced onions
Gram flour
2 tsp Rice flour
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp coriander-cumin powder
Pinch of ajwain seeds
1/2 tsp Baking soda Coriander leavesÂ
Salt to taste
Oil to Fry
Method
Take sliced onion & add the all the ingredients one by one. Do not mix water in the beginning. Onions will leave their moisture.
Gram flour should be mixed little by little. After mixing all the dry ingredients if necessary pour few drops of water.
Heat oil in pan. Fry the onion fritters in hot oil till golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
