Pomfret Fry

Pomfret or paplet is a very tasty & favourite variety of fish among non veg eaters. It does not require too much time to marinate & looks in less time.


5-6 fresh pomfret slices 1-2 tsp green masala ( green chilies, coriander, garlic) 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp red chilly powder Salt to taste 1 tsp Tamarind Pulp 2 tsp rice flour 


Clean each pomfret pieces. Marinate with turmeric, red chilly, green masala, tamarind & salt. Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes. Heat oil in pan. Coat the pieces in rice flour & shallow fry them from both sides. Can be served as side side or starter.
