Veg Kheema Masala

Veg Kheema masala is a royal vegetarian recipe with minced vegetables and paneer. It has a rich and creamy texture.





Ingredients


3 onions chopped

1 tomato chopped

Puree of 2 tomatoes

1 carrot parboiled

1/2 cup green peas parboiled

1/4 cup french beans parboiled

1 chopped green capsicum

1 green chili chopped

100 grams paneer

Cheese to garnish (optional)

1 tbsp ginger garlic taste

1 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder

Lemon juice

Salt to taste

1 tbsp oil


Method


Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and saute for 5 minutes.Add green chilies and saute. Then add tomatoes and cook till they are mushy. Then mix the tomato puree.


Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes off. Then add dry spices like turmeric, red chili, coriander, cumim powder ,garam masala and mix well.


Now add the chopped green capsicum and saute for a minute. Then add in parboiled veggies like carrot, peas, french beans and cook for 2 minutes.


Mix the grated paneer and saute. Add salt to taste. Garnish with coriander leaves. Grate some cheese for extra richness. Squeeze some lemon just before serving.


Veg kheema masala is ready .Serve hot with roti or rice


Tip : The quantity of vegetable can be altered according to liking. The best way to retain the color of all veggies is to add only after the basic gravy is ready.
