Bread Pudding

Bread Pudding is a simple recipe which is made with bread, milk & eggs. It is a perfect treat for kids to satisfy their sweet tooth. This can be easily made in cooker. There cannot be easier recipe of dessert than bread pudding. Here is the vacation special recipe for kids.








Ingredients

4 Bread Slices

3 Eggs

2 tbsp sugar

2 tsp vanilla essence

3-4 cups of milk


For Caramel

2 tbsp sugar

2 tsp water

Method


Take a pan which fits the size of cooker. Add 2 tbsp sugar to it. Add 2 tbsp water to the sugar. Let the sugar melt & then it will caramalize after 5-8 minutes. When it gets golden brown colour, turn off the heat.Caramel base is ready now. Keep this aside.

Now take milk in a pan. Dissolve sugar. Lightly beat the eggs & add vanilla essence. Cut the edges of bread and grind it in the mixture. Mix it to the milk, egg mixture.

Pour this mixture in the caramel pan & steam for 20 minutes in cooker without the whistle. Let it cool to room temperature.

Run a knife along the edges & invert it in a plate. Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours. Bread Pudding is ready to be served. Serve it chilled.
