Chicken Tikka is a popular starter made with boneless chicken & liked by people of all age groups. It tastes better than that made in restaurant.This dish is often regarded as the best of Indian tikkas.
500 gms boneless chicken
1tsp Kashmiri Red chilly powder 1 tbsp lime juice 1 cup strained thick yogurt 1tsp Red chilly powder (regular) 1tsp Ginger garlic paste A pinch of garam masala powder 2 tbsp oil to shallow fry Salt to taste Pinch of chaat masala (for garnish) Procedure
Cut chicken into small bite size pieces & marinate with the above ingredients for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Heat oil in the pan. Stir fry the chicken on high flame till it gets golden brown colour on both sides. The kashmiri red chilly powder gives a nice red colour to the chicken just like made in restaurant.
Squeeze some lemon juice & sprinkle chaat masala before serving. Serve hot. It make a delicious starter or accompaniment with pulav.
