Sea Bass In Chinese Gravy

Fish Preparation had been curries or fry most of the times.This time I decided to try on a new fish & I got a Sea Bass.It is locally available in Singapore wet markets.I got some fillets & made a chinese gravy.This is the first time I tried my hands on this kind of preparation & it turned out awesome.Let me share an easy to make recipe & this fish cooks within no time.It has a soft & juicy texture.





Ingredients


10-12 fillets of Sea bass

1tsp ginger garlic paste

3 chopped garlic cloves

1/2 inch chopped Ginger

2-3 finely chopped green chillies

1tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tsp black pepper sauce

2 tbsp corn flour

1/2 cup diagonally chopped spring onions

Salt to taste


Method

Marinate the fillets of Sea Bass with salt & ginger garlic paste for about 20mins.Sprinkle some corn flour on it & stir fry it on high flame & keep aside.


In the same pan heat some oil.Add chopped ginger ,gartic , green chillies ,onions of the spring onions & saute it.Then add soy sauce & mix well.Now add some water to make gravy.When it starts boiling add salt to taste & black pepper sauce.


Now make a thin paste of corn flour & mix it to the boiling gravy.Stir well.Lower the heat & add the stir fried fish.Take care not to cook the fish too much at this stage.Its extremely delicate & it might break.Turn off the heat & garnish with the greens of spring onion .


Serve hot with steamed rice,fried rice or noodles.
