Submarine Sandwich

Submarine Sandwich is a healthy sandwich made with chicken mince & veggies. It is yummier & healthier than the usual fast food fare & easy to make.




Ingredients


4 Bread Loaves (Rectangular)

1 sliced tomato

1 sliced cucumber

Sliced Capsicum

2 cheese slices

2-3 mixed green/black olives

Iceberg Lettuce leaves

Mayonnaise

Honey Mustard Sauce (optional)

Butter to toast






For the Chicken Patty


250 gms minced chicken

1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp pepper powder

Salt to taste


Procedure


Marinate the chicken mince with ginger garlic paste, salt & pepper powder. Put oil on the palms & make patty. Place the patty on pan with oil to shallow fry it. Flatten it a bit to give it a rectangular shape. Flip it & cook on both sides till it gets a golden colour.


Now slit the bread loaves in between. Apply some butter & lightly toast them.


Arrange the veggies on the toasted bread one by one. First the lettuce leaves, then the fried patty, cheese slice, tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum, olives.


Then add mayonnaise & honey mustard as per taste. Submarine sandwich is ready to be served !!
