Finger millet or Ragi is extremely nutritious for health. It is one of the superfoods in Indi. Rich in fibre, calcium and also glute free ragi can be consumed on daily basis. Here I am sharing a simple recipe of ragi dosa which does not use rice.
Ingredients
1/4 cup urad dal
1 cup ragi millet
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Method
Wash and soak urad dal and ragi for about 5 hours in water
Grind them fine ,together in mixer with some water. Do not add too much water. The batter should be like idli batter consistency
Now cover and let it ferment for 10-12 hours
Once fermented, add some water and salt to get dosa batter consistency.
Heat dosa pan and grease with oil. Take ladle full batter and spread thin like dosa. Drizzle some oil on sides. Let it cook till it becomes crisp. Serve with coconut chutney.
